goosebumps and butterflies buzzing at my first sight of the white continent

It was definitely a challenge trying to find interesting contours that photographed well and weren’t marred by criss-crossing footprints

This stop was part of a cross-country road trip to visit 14 NPS sites and capture the beauty of our public lands at night

After three hours or so with nothing really changing

Its as close to real life magic as you can get. For two weeks, the angle of the sun lines up juuuuust right so that it backlights only Horsetail Falls at sunset, making it look like it's on fire. "Aqua Magma" was shot my first year leading a group of friends through Yosemite with the goal of experiencing Firefall. After nearly 15 miles of hiking, the group
