Freeman自幼學習古典鋼琴，後於劍橋大學深造期間轉向爵士樂發展。他的演奏融合古典的嚴謹與爵士的即興，近年活躍於香港爵士場景，曾與Ted Lo等資深音樂家合作，並參與自由爵士音樂節等重要演出。
